Tips on Framing and Drywall Installation

After a renovation, some times you experience numbers of cracks at each corner of your house. As a matter of fact, most of the cracks appeared are caused by bad installations.
In case of settle down a house or expansions of products, each product reacts differently. For instance, laminate expands more than drywall. Imagine the material of your house are pieces of a puzzle: if they don't bond and tie together tightly, the puzzle do not form in a right shape.

Tips:
1- In framing, when it comes to corner installations, always attach both corner studs and bond them together by using a piece of 2x4 in between.


2- For drywall installations, always use screws instead of nails. Also, its better to put two crews on each jont (with 2" distance from eachother), especially on ceiling.



By following these tips, you will not see any carcks anymore!
